Creating the Perfect Chair Range Using Our Posture+ Seating System

At JasonL, we’ve dedicated years to researching, designing, and developing the ideal seating system.

We understand the importance of finding the "right" work chair, and our mission has been to create the ultimate chair that meets all criteria for ergonomics and comfort.

We believe we’ve achieved this goal with our Posture+ Seating System.

The Foundation of Our Seating System

Our seating system combines a correctly moulded foam seat with a complementary mechanism. By tailoring each chair to fit an individual’s size and requirements, we provide the necessary ergonomic support.

The Posture+ system features dynamic body-contouring foam and mechanisms that deliver unparalleled support and comfort.

The system includes pressure-relieving qualities that allow you to sit comfortably for extended periods. The moulded foam seats, with a waterfall edge, evenly distribute pressure across the seat and backrest, rapidly moulding to your body shape as you move.

Key Features of the Posture+ Seating System

The Right Curve

Our new chair shape provides added lumbar support, enhancing comfort and reducing lower back strain.

Ventilation Foam

This feature helps dissipate heat, keeping you cool and comfortable throughout your workday.

Moulded High-Density Foam

Our ultra-supportive foam provides firm yet comfortable support, essential for long hours of sitting.

The Importance of Ergonomic Design

Research indicates that sitting increases compression on the disks in the lower back by at least 50%. To counteract this, a work chair should offer stable body support, promote correct posture, and accommodate variations in spinal anatomy. Our seating system excels in all these areas, offering exceptional comfort as well.

Through advanced ergonomic education and innovative design, our chairs feature dynamic elements that allow you to customise them to eliminate ailments such as fatigue, discomfort, and pain.

Key Adjustability Features

Seat Height Adjustability

This feature allows users to adjust the chair height so their feet are firmly on the floor. If the seat is too high, the user may lean forward and lose back support. If too low, the user’s weight shifts to the buttocks, causing excess pressure on the thighs. Ideally, knees should be bent at a right angle (90-95 degrees).

Sliding Seat / Seat Pan Depth

This adjustment facilitates forward and backward movement of the seat, accommodating various depths depending on the user’s stature. Larger individuals can improve posture by sliding the seat forward for a deeper seat pan, while smaller individuals should slide the seat backward. The seat should be deep enough to support the upper legs, up to just behind the knees.

Waterfall Front

The curved edge of the seat front helps eliminate restricted blood flow to the lower legs and reduces pressure behind the knees.

Synchronized Movement

Our mechanism ensures that the seat and backrest automatically follow the user's movements. For every 3 degrees of tilt applied to the backrest, the seat pan tilts by 1 degree. This allows the chair to move with your body, providing a fixed-angle sitting position or a free-floating recline.

The negative tilt feature widens the angle between the trunk and thighs, reducing pressure on the spinal discs. Tension adjustment facilitates effortless "to and fro" movement of the seat proportional to your body weight.

Forward Knee Tilt

This mechanism allows the chair to tilt backward from the front of the seat while keeping the user's feet firmly on the ground. The chair can be reclined and locked in any position, with adjustable tension to maintain stability and improve posture.

Height Adjustable Arms

The adjustable armrests provide support to the forearms and elbows, preventing shoulder elevation. If the armrests are too high, it may cause shoulder raising. If too low, users may slouch or lean to one side. The armrests should enable the arms to extend naturally to the worktop.

Lumbar Support

The backrest should offer adequate lumbar support. Some chairs feature height-adjustable backrests to accommodate different individuals, ensuring proper lumbar support.

Backrest Angle Adjustment

Our 3-lever mechanism includes back and seat tilt adjustments with ratchet back height adjustment. Independent seat angle and back height adjustments allow users to change the backrest angle relative to the seat angle.

This design ensures an even distribution of body weight and reduces pressure on the lower back, with the backrest angle ranging from 85 to 120 degrees (slightly beyond upright).

With our Posture+ Seating System, you can enjoy a chair designed to enhance comfort and support, contributing to a healthier and more productive work environment.
